The brackets have been posted on the Brackets page under the Tournaments tab.  Refer to the brackets and see what team you are scheduled to face for Week 1.  Each team captain's username is listed as the first name under their respective team on the Teams page.

Please review and familiarize yourselves with the Rules and FAQ under the same tab.

Teams will need to schedule, play and report their matches by Midnight on Sunday, 26 February 2012.  Please report your scores (w/ Match IDs) by email or Skype to tournaments@shokra.com or Jenova.26, respectively.

If your team has "Free Win" in your bracket for the first week, then you are automatically advanced to Week 2 and will not play this week.

Shokra Gaming will be hosting its second tournament. Some of you may remember our last tournament, which, by all accounts, was very successful. Several recognizable teams participated (Fray, 5Gz, DRD, vRs).

This new tournament, sponsored in-part by www.nationvoice.com, S2Games, and Shokra Gaming, is aimed to appeal to those players and teams who have been with HoN from the beginning with the Shokra Gaming's Heroes of Newerth Nostalgia Tournament

Basic Information:
- First and foremost, for this tournament, ALL heroes released after retail are autobanned. That's right, only the heroes we all know and love from Beta will be playable.

- Beyond that, all standard single elimination, best out of three tournament rules apply. For a full list of rules and additional information, please visit the Rules page.

- Team Captains can sign up their teams by sending an email to tournaments@shokra.com.

- Please include full names, account names, and countries of all team members, as well as your clan name and tag.

- If you have any questions or discrepencies that are not addressed on the website, or if you would like to assist with the administration, organization, or casting, you can contact me directly at Jenova.26 on Skype.

The final two teams were [fray] - Frenetic Array vs [TEAS] - Tease Masters.

Tease Masters went on to win the event with a 2:1 victory over Frenetic Array. Both teams put on a very good set of finals matches, with game id's being available below.

To all tournament captains,

This should no longer be as much of an issue as Round 1 of any tournament tends to weed out the inactives, but please make every effort to contact your opponent as early as possible to schedule your matches.

There were several instances of one team captain making repeated attempts to contact their opponent throughout the week only to finally get a response within 24 to 48 hours before the round ended. Since this tournament is international, each team captain needs to maximize the amount of time for scheduling against availability for both teams and timezone conflicts.

Failure to make any effort to schedule until the last minute has earned several teams a forfeit. This tournament is intended to be fun and a learning experience for the several newer teams in the brackets. There is nothing fun and nothing to be learned from forfeit wins.
